Florida November 2017 Cohort
Hi everyone. I just discovered WGU and I'm very interested in how the program works. Where do they have clinicals? Are there multiple locations? I would greatly appreciate any information! Thanks!

Hillsborough Community College Nursing - Spring 2018
Hi everyone, I'm new to this thread. I'm submitting my application tomorrow for Spring 2018. Just finished my last pre-req last week, ended up with a B in algebra. After reading through another thread and seeing how high the GPA cut-off was for Fall 2017... I'm nervous as hell. I got all A's and B's in all the pre-reqs, after not taking college courses for several years. I really thought I didn't have too much to worry about, but I knew how competitive the nursing program is. After all this time and work, I'm sitting at a 3.48 pre-req GPA... and a TEAS score of 87.6 (which apparently doesn't matter much, as long as it's above 60). I'll also be applying to Pasco-Hernando and Polk State, but HCC is by far my first choice. So, here's hoping! Good luck everyone, the deadline is coming up fast!

TAMPA FL - Nursing Schools/R.N. Programs??
Thanks for your reply, I appreciate the wisdom. I definitely want to do this the right way. I don't want to waste time/money/effort on a school that isn't worth it.

TAMPA FL - Nursing Schools/R.N. Programs??
Hello! I've decided to pursue a career in nursing and am actively searching for an R.N. Program. I am aware of the positives and negatives of St. Pete College and HCC, the positives being cost and reputation, and the negatives being limited access/waiting lists. I am very eager to get started with and complete my education so I'm considering private nursing colleges. I would greatly appreciate any advice, opinions, and/or recommendations that any of you could offer me. The schools that are on my list of possible choices include Galen, South University, Jersey College, Concorde, and Breckenridge/ITT. My priorities in choosing a program are firstly the quality of the education and the schedules available (I will need to be working as much as possible while going to school, and may need to consider going part time), and secondly the cost and location. Thank you for your time and for any help you can offer!
