Hello! I was wondering if anyone else is planning on applying to the HCC nursing program for the spring of 2018? I just finished this rough semester and I was hoping there would be other people on here that I can talk to about this upcoming goal! (:
I put my app in on July 11 and nothing showing for me either. I emailed them last week to see if they had received my official teas scores. They got back to me pretty quick. They said they got them but haven't had a chance to upload them yet. So I'm guessing they're probably kind of swamped..
Do you have the email that you used? I understand if they are swamped but I just want to calm my nerves. I would feel better knowing if they got it before the deadline passed instead of after
[email protected]. Let us know what they say.
Hi everyone - I applied for Spring 18 as well. I applied about a month ago. I saw some of you said you could see if they have received your documents/application or not? I sent a self addressed envelope with my application and they did send it back with a piece of paper that said it was received. I just want to double check and know that they received all documents necessary and that I'm not missing anything. When I click on my documents it just shows my transcripts from previous schools which they already have on file.

I personally put my app in the drop box a little over 2 weeks ago. When I click on my documents I see the same thing as you. My transcripts from other schools but no application info. It sounds like most of us here aren't seeing anything show up. Could be they just haven't updated the database. I know during the regular term the web advisor page is unavailable after midnight until early in the morning due to updates. However I have not seen this happen this summer yet.
Got a pretty much generic response today:
Thank you for your interest in HCC's Nursing Program. Students applying to a limited access Health Sciences Program and want to ensure they have completed all the admission requirements before or by the program deadline they must use the checklist provided with the application. When applications are received and if noticed that a document or requirement is missing, we might sent students a courtesy reminder email prior the program deadline. However, applications are not screened when received to ensure that students have completed the admission requirements, that it is the students responsibility.
At this moment, the orientation date is final yet. The Nursing application form, section VI gives mid-November as an approximate date for orientation for the spring term. However, if you are accepted into the program you will be given the information with your status notification. We recommend applicants, it is very important, that once the application packet is submitted applicants should begin to regularly monitor their HCC Hawkmail. We expect that official status notification will be sent about 8 to 10 weeks after the program deadline. Note that all communications will only be through the students HCC Hawkmail, as the official status notification.
If you want to see and follow the progress of your application and documents:
1) Go to hccfl.edu
2) Click on HawkNet†(located at the top of the homepage)
3) Click on WebAdvisorâ€
4) Log in and select Studentsâ€
5) Click on My Documents†(located near the bottom on the left hand side)
If at this time your WebAdvisor is not showing any of your application documents, it means that your application packet has not been processed yet, not that has not been received. When we begin to process applications your WebAdvisor will show "ASAP" or "Not Received" and a notification below UNDER REVIEW†in those documents are in progress. They will remain open until they have been completely evaluated by the Health Sciences Admissions team.

Do you know if the application itself should be listed under documents? Or just transcripts?
