Hillsborough Community College Fall 2017

Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)

How are they gonna place us as . by overall GPA ? Mine is a 3.41 prere 3.57

I'm going to go up to the Dale Mabry campus tomorrow to drop off my acceptance packet. Anyone else going up for a visit?

I can't until Tuesday. I think all we need is the acceptance letter, money order for drug test, and signed release of background form-right? We shouldn't need the other background form until later?

Yup. So the order is to turn in those three first, then we complete the background check before our orientation or we cannot attend. After orientation, we can register for courses.

Finally, we'll need our up-to-date CPR cards sent in along with the immunizations and physical exam results.

I do wonder when they administer the drug tests. I'm sure it will have to occur prior to clinicals.

Yes, they had to use overall GPA because there is still at least one person who has a 3.667 who is an alternate.

I agree. I'm sure there are others who are going to be declining their acceptance since other schools like USF and PSC haven't sent out their acceptance yet.

Yeah. I'm trying to stay hopeful. If anything I'll just apply again for spring
