I dropped mine off the day before you and mine just updated today. @dlasty yours should update any day now

Fingers crossed, nothing as of this morning. I'm acting like this determines if I get in or not, LOL, but I really just want to know they got it. I dropped it off at DM.

I was going to wait until Monday to call, since today would be three weeks from when I sent it in. I mean I don't know how they could NOT have it, I dropped it off at the DM campus, so it didn't get lost in the mail. I'm thinking there were just so many applicants. Who knows how many more people dropped off after me, or during the weekend that got piled on top of mine. I'm just being impatient.

I'm pretty sure they got it, it just sounds like they are taking their time processing applications. Just keep busy for now you have nothing to worry about. I also dropped my application off at DM so you should be good!

Just in case, I reached out via email and was given another email to contact regarding my application. Just for peace of mind :)

I cant wait to see an update on here that someone got a letter. even though im plenty busy with my two kids a full time job and 3 classes. I still cant stop thinking about this because were so close to knowing!

Itll be an email! So much quicker! Last cycle they sent out denial letters first and it took and hour or two but then the others received acceptance letters.

But I am with you, getting impatient!

I wonder why they don't do some sort of electronic application, I feel like it wouldn't take as long to weed through applications, check prereqs, etc. I mean its 2017, get it together HCC

Emailed an advisor today asking for any type of information .. And she told me basically that no advisor can give out any details AFTER the deadline . to not listen to any type of information I've heard otherwise . the email was kinda rude not gonna lie . that's the last time I email them about the nursing program . she also said just to worry about prereq GPA and overall GPA and that it all comes down to that .. Makes sense ...

At least I'm not alone, I guess, haha. This whole process is so stressful. I wish they would send out communications of some sort instead of refusing to give any info after the stupid deadline.

I'm late but... I would also love to join for a drink! We should plan a big outing after orientation so we can all get to know each other in person! For those that are worried about not getting in, just know that there are other options! Private colleges are expensive but that is why there are student loans to help! I know it is not ideal, but my friend who is a head nurse at a hospital got her education at Kaiser I believe. I have also heard great things about Galen college of nursing. She is one of the smartest nurses I know and is looked up to by many at her job. She also said the student loans are a piece of cake to pay back with how well nursing pays and she paid them back within 5 years. So there is always another option! Don't give up :) I hope that we all get in!
