Is anyone else planning on applying for the Fall 2017 nursing program? I know it is really early, but I am just too excited. I want other people to share my excitement with!! :)
Hey guys!!!I'm also planning on applying for the nursing program in the fall. I unfortunately have a&p II, Micro and sociology to take spring term... all online too... wish me luck!
So I just have a few questions
has anyone taken a cpr class at hcc?
is it easier to get in to fall vs spring?
anyone trying to go to DM or PC days?
should a 3.5gpa be a safe bet to get accepted?
are the TEAS really hard?
I should finish with that or better... but am a little worried now.
Hey how do you feel about taking ap II online? I worry that usf wont accept it because some schools don't. because I plan to do the hcc rn transfer to usf for bsn
A&p online isn't as hard as I thought it'd be... maybe it's because of my professor... he's amazing. I'm taking apII this spring with him again and am determined to get an A. I would've gotten an A in API but having a newborn kinda threw me off my game... but I'm back! Lol.
i just a took Algebra online too. It's not bad. You just have to stay focused and dedicate time... professors aren't as helpful tho- well mine wasn't.
Also, I don't believe it matters if you take classes online vs lecture... your transcript should only show the class and grade.

so your taking ap 2 online this semester who are you taking it you dont mind me asking?
I'll message you since apparently you can't actually use names in here... they'll be erased by the admin(s)
yes you still take practicals. You have unlimited chances at labs and like 3 practicals. Although they make you think, they're also pretty easy As.
best part about labs online- no lab fees anymore at HCC (starts Spring 2017).

That CPR class would be great, especially if Financial Aid would cover it! I think they are usually valid for 2 years. I have heard such mixed things about the TEAS, some people say it is all common sense and others say it is very difficult. I suppose it just depends on the individual and what their strong points are.
