Anybody applying ...? =)

I am so frustrated because I feel stuck. Until I find out if I got the Brandon Hospital gig, I can't register for classes, get my financial aid fixed, get books or anything else. One thing hinges on another, and it's making me pretty crazy.

I just keep praying we hear something soon. (or not hear something... Because even if I don't get it, I can move forward!)

I'm in the same boat(except not waiting to hear from BH but instead waiting on the 12 to hear from BH lol), I'm sure we will find out soon. And there's still things we can do in the meantime like uniforms, CPR, physical, shots, etc. I have faith everything will get worked our soon! Good luck!

I am in the same boat. Waiting to hear from Brandon Regional. The wait was easier before we were told we could not register for classes. I am already in the Dale Mabry am class, though. So at least I won't have to change classes. Hopefully we will hear something this week. That July 13th date for financial aid scares me though. I am waiting to clear up all of that.

man this whole financial aid/registering for NP 1/BRH/No campus assingment seem more stressful then waiting for our admission letter lol.... FinAid tells me my award letter should arrive within the next 6 weeks.

Does anyone know were you would get medical insurance? Since I'm not going to be working part/full time anymore when school begins.

Ans has anyone started scanning their required documents on that certifiedbackground website yet?

How did you find out about you're fin aid award letter (if you don't mind me asking)? Who did you talk to? Or did you go there and talk to them? I can't figure our what's going on with my financial aid :(

This is more stressful but at least we're becoming more patient I think lol

If you're under 26 (i believe) you can be on your parents insurance?

Also I think we have to wait until we get campuses before we s an things onto certified background, I believe that was the paper she was giving out when she spoke to everyone individually because it has a code we need.

Lee posted back on page 68...I think...for healthcare insurance. Make sure you read the posts carefully...in one post he talks about coverage as a student nurse and the other he talks about health insurance.

I started getting things done with the certified profile, but Calley is right...I don't think you're supposed to do that until your campus assignment is official. It's a snazzy little website!

Thanks K, and Yea Calley, you're insured under your parents insurance until you turn 26 years old. I just turned 26 this past June 3 and they told me I was no longer eligible to be on my parents insurance. So I'm basically on my own :(

As far as the certifiedbackground website, I think you do need to be assigned to a campus first before uploading documents because on my profile on certifiedbackground, it displays the campus that I am already assigned to on my profile. So far, I uploaded 9 out of the 11 documents we are to post up.

I spoke ( more like "chat") with someone from HCC live help. I didn't want to drive to dale mabry and wait in long lines so I used their hcc live help option. You would have to login (create a profile if you don't have an account first) and click on the "chat with a representative" option. A new chat window will open and it ask you a couple questions like are you a current student, what is your school's main campus, and which department are you asking help from. Someone will then "pop up" on the chat window and answer your questions. I've been using that method too when I need questions answered

I was able to register for my NP 1 class. Now just waiting on FinAid
