highlighted questions in nclex exam

Published

:biggringi HI! juz took nclex exam yesterday. no results yet and the waiting part is killing me! it was haaarrdd! i dunno if i passed ,it stopped at 80. a friend of mine said that the computer is giving you hard questions if there are highlighted words on it,is this true? It kinda makes me nervous cause I only got bout 2 on my last 5 questions, #77 n #78 i think. and overall it my questions aren't highlighted much. does this means I,m answering incorrectly? I kinda looked up most of the things that i remember, and i counted an average of bout 20 mistakes already. Is that good or bad? Feedback much appreciated.

Sorry, but the number of questions does not matter, nor if words or highlighted.

Good luck with passing the exam, but there is nothing that anyone can do to predict your score.

The words are highlighted to assist the examinee. They are not put there to indicate if a question is hard or not. Now, having said that, do you remember which words were highlighted? If it is a word like best, most, first, etc., then the question may have to do with prioritizing. Priority questions are written at a higher cognitive level and are generally more difficult. I am sure very soon you will be telling us you passed.
