most effective way to study terminology your advice and past experience you used to study terminology for LPN nursing students?

Well, you have to learn it and what ever way works best for you is best. I've seen people label blank anatomy sheets, other use repetitive writing of the term (like what we did in French class).
In the real world, we keep it simple. Sure you can use "ante cubital" but no one has ever thrown a fit on my unit over the word "elbow".

I took a medical terminology night course many years before being a nurse so that helped a lot. What I did when I took that course was to make study cards..like I would write say the color red on one side and on the other I would write erythro. It is a lot to memorize but the more you work at it and hear it, the easier it will get. Best of luck.

plenty of bookstores carry boxed sets of flash cards, not all are terminology, but anatomy flashcards, med administration flashcards can all be very helpful. i had a program on my computer in school where i could create my own crossword puzzles, and that worked quite well being able to ask myself a question and the correct answer had to be correct terminology of the object.
