I was out on the disability list for about 8 yrs but kept my lic current. Stayed on top of any clinical and pharmacology updates. Have PALS and ACLS certifications. In Texas have been a floor supervisor and even have flight experience.
I guess my question is, How hard is it to get a job with those credentials in or around LA? I hold a compact state lic with home state being Texas.
Any ideas guys? Anxious to move to LA.
Oh and am currently taking online classes for my BSN.

Louisiana? Los Angeles? Some other mysterious place?

If you are referring to the greater Los Angeles area, you will most likely face an uphill battle after having been on disability for 8 years. My advice is to not relocate to L.A.
