Published

Just wondering who else is applying for HCC CNA to LVN transition program for Spring 2015?

Hi @brandyDeaso,

Did you ever figure out which background check to select on the website? I'm having a hard time scheduling an appointment as well. Am I suppose to select Nursing Licensing ?...

Hello Nessa!

Do you mind telling me in what state this is? i would like to apply too.

Thanks

Hello there @girlonfire, this LVN program is in Houston Texas at Houston Community College, the health science building is called Coleman campus. In what state do you reside?

Yes,it is the state if texas one and you choose board of nursing.

Once you find out can you please let me know. I'm not either. I also have question about the course transcripts, do we have to send in another one or that's for the people that they need one from?

@Nessa Thank for responding..... I reside in Maryland. Do you mind briefing me a little about the school, before I contact them?

Hello all!! I too received my letter late, and have a million and one things to do before the 19th of December! I hate it's such short notice! I can't wait to meet yall on the 19th!!!!

I think as far as the transcripts it may be mandatory for us to resubmit them. I just printed mines from the Hcc website. I believe those are due on the December 15, but a specific time was not given. I still have to get my CPR card, drug test, and fingerprinting so yea every thing is all at once since I received my acceptance letter late :(

Do anyone have the uniform cost sheet attached to the rest of the documents in the letter? Mines was not enclosed...

Hey guys! I got my letter finally today! I got in I'm so excited!! Yes there's so much to be done so quickly! I can't wait to meet you all and for the program to start. We are going to have a great year and journey and I know we will grow close. And as far as the transcripts I would just say resubmit, it would fb awful to miss out at this point just bc you didn't resubmit!

The uniform cost is like 108.00 and some change...plus a nursing kit...but for me...mines will be more..im pleasingly plump...so thats an extra charge..but I too have to get my cpr...drug test...physical...and the rest of my shots:sniff: all within a week!

My sheet said woman's uniforms would be 184 plus tax plus supplies 65 I think. Only pay in cash or money order. I'm confused about the student service orientation January 8th. It doesn't have a time listed on there.

On January 8th, we'll already be there...survival camp is from the 5th-9th..so itll be done while we're there. In my letter, there's an attached sheet of the uniform place, called "career uniforms". The prices are on there.
