Just wondering who else is applying for HCC CNA to LVN transition program for Spring 2015?

Hello ALL, I am IN!!!!! I'm uber excited!!!! thank alot for all your help and support.. :) :) :) :)

Megan, I have a friend who also applied and she's in the same boat as you, its very weird that you guys haven't received the letter yet. she's nailbiting too. I really hope the letter comes soon. I am crossing my fingers for you and my friend.

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Thank you so much Nessa. I kind of had a breakdown earlier, this is literally the most important thing to me, to get into a nursing program and get started. I cried after reading everyone has their letters but I am also happy for y'all and I know if you got in you deserve it! I am just praying by Monday at least I will know what the situation is. Did the letter say anything about when uniform fitting will be? I want to be prepared in case for some reason I do get in and my letter is just late. I don't know why it's taking so long because they send them even if it is a no

Hello Megan,

It says that uniform fitting will be Dec 19th. I'll also be crossing my fingers for you as well!!!!

Congrats to all of you who got accepted. I'm almost done with Nutrition and A&P and I plan on applying for Fall 2015. My Teas scores were Math 86 and Reading 78.......I was wondering what your TEAS scores were and whether you were done with your pre-reqs before applying for the VN program. thankyou

Hello Kevin,

you're doing great! Keep it up! My teas scores were math 83 and english 73, and yes I took my pre reqs before applying so you're good. The person who interviewed me said they prefer prospective students who already have their grades on file for their pre reqs because there were so many who were still taking their pre reqs when they applied. I wish you the best!! :)

@MegantheCNA91, if you don't get your letter by Monday, call the school to make sure. I know some people in my group didn't receive their letter, but still got in.

I didn't have to any of the pre-reqs because I have them all... My ultimate goal is RN-BSN, so I had to take all of those classes... I''m currently a CNA so i will be in the CNA-LVN transition program.

Hi guys, I have been in the same boat waiting for my letter as well and called Stephanie .., I got in!!!! I'm super excited and ready to begin this journey. Hopefully we could all come together for study groups . Congrats to everyone! My suggestion for those who have not recieved their letters is to contact Stephanie to see what is going on...

Congratulations Jasmine! Yes that's great idea to get together for study groups! My friend is also waiting for her letter, I will let her know to contact Stephanie to find out whats is going on. Did Stephanie tell you over the phone if you got accepted?

Yes she did Nessa, I had some discrepancies with my mail and old address and was not able to pick up my mail... So she provided that information with me, not sure if she will do the same for others. However, she's allowing me to pick up the rest of the paperwork today..

I applied for the CNA transition and just the regular LVN program how do I know which one I got accepted into? Did it say it in your letter?
