Just wondering who else is applying for HCC CNA to LVN transition program for Spring 2015?
How do we tell the difference between the CNA to LVN transition program from the regular LVN program? I'm currently a CNA and I had the transition program on my application.
I also have another question,
Did anyone receive their blue card in the mail? I did.. And it just had on the back that my file is clear.. Is that all it's suppose to say on there? And do we need to bring that blue card with us January 5th?
I plan on applying for the LVN program for Fall 2015 if I can finish my prerequisites in time. But can anyone tell me if I have to take the TEAS test before I take the prerequisites for the program. In info on what steps you did before getting accepted would be helpful. Oh....and I plan on doing the CNA to LVN transition, can anyone tell me the difference. I think I saw someone put they only go a few days out the week.
Hi AshBennet89, the cna to lvn transition they only go to class monday and Tuesday and no clinicals for the first semester, I believe for the 2nd and 3rd semesters there will be clinicals. I applied for the regular lvn program and I got accepted! I took my pre reqs before attempting to take the teas exam. One thing I found out during the info session if that you can also take the Hessi instead of the Teas. If you haven't, you should sign up for an info session which is also a requirement to get accepted. Make sure you start your series of vaccines required by the lvn program at least 6 months before you apply because the hepatitis B shots take up to 6 months to complete. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Good luck!! :)

I definitely think I seen a few of you. Our CNA to LVN class is very small which I love! Plus I think we only go twice a week so that's awesome I can still work.
