I have the choice to go and take the NCLEX next Tuesday July 7 @ 2:00pm or the next Tues July 14 @ 8:00am. What time was best for you. I've been out of school for about a month now and have been stayin up late and sleeping late. Any suggestions

I do not wake up early. I am taking mine at noon. Cause I did not have the option at 2pm :) Just think you probably will have a problem going to bed because of nerves so most likely you will get more sleep if you take the later test. But that's just me at least :)

Thanks for the advice!

I was in this same situation when I took my NCLEX. I was in between June 16th and June 23rd. 16th had openings at 12:30 and 23rd had opening at 8am. I thought the extra week of the 23rd looked good, but decided the sooner the better and took the test June 16th exactly 1 month after I graduated and a week or so after Kaplan. I am so glad I did because I passed and did not have to worry about it any longer. If you feel ready than you should take it ASAP. Goodluck!

I took my NCLEX at 2p, it works better for me since my mind doesn't wake up until at least 10a! I guess you need decide when you are most focused and alert...and honestly a week will probably not matter much if you have already been studying (could even be one week less of test anxiety). Good Luck!

Thank you so much for all of help! I decided to go and take it July 7th at 2. I've been out of school for a month and have gotten use to stayin up late and sleepin late. I'm gonna have to get out of that before I get a job

I opted for an 11:00am appointment so I didn't have to get up at dawn; I'd also miss the prime rush hour traffic (where I live, rush hour starts around 5:30am and lasts until about 9am). Also, my current out-of-school-and-not-working schedule had me up by 7am every day anyway.
