Hey

Published

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello!! I am a student at FCCJ and have just finished all my prereq and applied for the nursing program this month and if accepted will start in August. It is great to have a place to share this anguish of waiting.

I got mine today too!!!!! So excited... can't wait to get all the physical/fingerpprinting etc done!!!

Did you call and find out about the form for the drug screening? I called and no one answered. I guess it is too late in the afternoon on Friday. Usually, the office staff seems to bail before 3pm on Fridays.

I got my acceptance letter today!!!! I am in!! Did you get yours? I am 31 and I live in St johns county!! I am so excited!

OH MY GOD........ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

I live in St. JOhns county too, Julington Creek. Maybe we can carpool!

Everyone ready for orientatioN? I only now need to get my lab reports back from my doctor......who is scaring me by trying to find them now!!!:angryfire

I went by and bought all the books less the modules for the fall. It's quite a stack

Yes! I just got my labs back today. Took over a week to get the results. I got my books last week. (Except the modules) You're right. It is QUITE a stack!! I have everything done except the picture. I am planning on going to either CVS or Walgreens tomorrow and getting it done. I am soo excited. I have already started reading some of the books. Some of the stuff makes me nervous. LOL!

Welcome to the site!!!

well got the reports back but they didn't do a titer for the Hep B. I got the first dose and need the two other doses so hopefully, they will accept that. My doctor's office totally messed up and lost the papers. They had to call the labs to fax them over twice.

I got mine at walgreen's for 7.99. It looks cheesy LOL. I went through everything and hopefully have all ready to go. I can't wait until orientation!

Wow! How about that orientation today? It was excruciatingly long! Did you get the section you were wanting? I got #4 which was what I wanted. Yay... Getting excited about classes or dreading it?

LUCKY!!! That was my first choice. Hey off THur and FRI how cool is that. My sessions filled up in order lol. The very last all day (no night classes) was the session I got Session 1. Oh well, myabe next semester I'll get on line fastest!!! It was a disaster yesterday. I thought it might be a little more organized

Yeah, I was lucky! I was just praying when I was drawing my number that it would be under 50 and I picked 27. I just thought with my luck I would have been 144. You're right. It was really not organized well. Especially the uniforms. I was sooo glad to get out of there! I am excited about classes starting though. I have been reading some of my books since I got them a few weeks ago. The skills kit is neat, too. I really want to practice! I think it will be alot of fun. My husband wouldnt even let me show him the needles. lol

yeah i got 115 or something like that !!!! I met a couple of people that will be in with me:)

Uniforms were.....interesting LOL!!! I finally got out at 7:30 last night  and a lot more broke. I've been signing up on that evolve thing and studying the heck out of dosage notes. I want to do more than PASS the first time!!! I want the first test grade to be ace:)
