Published

I just got an email that i passed all 4 of the assessments :) I am planning on starting the MSN program in March, are there any other MSN in leadership and management students here? if so where do you work now? what are your career goals? I have been a nurse for 4 years, I work in psych and corrections, I was a charge nurse on the psych unit and a unit manager on a long term care floor. Im really excited about starting school again (got my RN-BSN in 2012) lets get to know one another and stay in touch :)

I have my BSN, the process was long because of the evaluation and I was getting frustrated because they said they needed transcripts before 22nd of the month prior to starting (that would mean feb 22) but he really wanted it before feb 1st! i was able to get everything done on time and i am starting March 1st, just finished the orientation (tedious) Good luck!

Hello!! Congrats to everyone on beginning the MSN. I have completed all the courses and only have the Capstone left. :D. I started less than 1 year ago in March. Can't wait to finish. I already held my BSN x 17 yrs. let me know if I can be of Ny help since I have " been there"

I will be contacting you in a near future im sure ;)

I really started out like gangbusters and was glad I did. It was a little slow at first as I was out of school x 17 yrs. I will go back and look at how long each course actually took. I really, for the most part, skipped to the assignment/task that was "evaluated" vs. doing all the practice ones first. You really pull off of the experience from working you have gained. Another helpful tool was purchasing PERRLA. It links in with word ( word for Mac for me) and helps with APA format. Best to start using that ASAP. Easier down the road. Anyway, don't hesitate to rech out, and I will log back tomorrow to let you know how long each class took. Melissa

After you completed the readiness tests, how long did it take before you received your result? Also, did you receive a grade on them or just a pass?

Hello everyone!

I'm looking to start the RN-MSN in Leadership and Management Sept. 1st of 2014. I am currently the ADON of a LTC facility. I'm glad this forum is here I'm sure I will have lots of questions. I agree with Indyrn00. PERRLA is absolutely necessary for paper writing!
