Anyone know if there are ways to prepare for HESI exams? Our school is now

requiring the HESI after certain classes each semester. All I've heard is that it

is a very difficult exam. How does it compare to NCLEX style questions? I don't

know what to expect!!!

Are there study guides to help prepare for this????

Well, I'm pretty sure it was 1000. I could be wrong. I don't really care since I passed it. I do know it wasn't 1350, or I'd have flunked out with a 922, lol.

Hi everyone. I passed my exam 2 weeks ago 82% average. Thanks A lot to everyone who wrote on the site all those small tips were very useful!! In my turn I wish everyone a good luck and there are several tips that I have: limit your time- the actual test has five more additional questions in evry chapter it is not like in a book. (it was my first surprise). Limit your time yourself as they will give you 4 hours and you have to manage your time sucessfully and you can spend 2 hours for math and 15 minutes for anatomy. There is no official break if you will leave for break the time will not stop. English is pretty simple, vocabulary- study the whole list that is the the textbook (such term as overt, feasible), math - conversion, ratio, inch, oz-ml, the calculator is in the program. Science: chemistry basic- atom structure, solubility, acidity, enzymes, proteins structure; anatomy and physiology - use your anatomy notes, (I used the sceince test for enterance exam for nurses KAPLAN) and all the tips on book just follow it - lymphatic system: hormones 2 or 3 questions, heart. Biology structure DNA, RNA, Mitosis, Meosis all stages what you have at the end of each process, trascription, translation, genes. Practice, practice, practice. Good luck to everyone.
