It is not a point of what any state BON makes, the issue is that the school will not release the transcripts without the HESI being passed if it is required. They are not going to be able to test for any other state as there still will be no transcripts.
One has up to three tries to pass the exam for those that are required to take it. Would recommend that she try it again. There is no other way around it if it is a requirement.
And the first tip of my program that is posted above works great with preparing for the HESI.
Best of luck to your friend.
hesi is a requierment in my school. we need to get at least 900 on the exit to pass and we had three chances. for those who didn't pass they took it again after graduation.... i guess everbody passes at the end. without Hesi we knew from the start that we're not going to be able to sit for boards...we did study hard and worked hard during school and formost of us it was not bad... most of us used the Hesi NClex-rn book with the cd... great book with lots of information in about 400 pages.
I thought Hesi was just some kinda exit exam, like a final at the end of your semester. :imdbb: My friend just told me she had to do the ATI exam or she could not grad either. I had not heard of anyone not being able to sit for boards if they did not take the test or failed the exam.
Anyway I hope everything works out well.:heartbeat

hello,
i have a friend who didn't pass the hesi so our school won't allow her to sit for the boards. is there anything she can do about this? would it be possible for her to challenge the boards in another state to become an rn. any type of information would help.
thanks
