I just took the HESI this morning. My advice is to study the Elsevier review book, and everything is in there.
There wasn't any metric/english conversions, but a couple of metric-metric (cm-m) questions. And yes LOTS of fractions and ratios.
For the grammar, most were pick the correct/incorrect, or choose the correct word, there were maybe 1-2 questions asking about a part of speech.
(sorry i didn't take the a&p sections)
The HESI A2 Elsevier review book is a good tool to study for math, reading comp, vocab, grammar, and biology. As far as Anatomy goes, it does not help at all. You really have to use other resources to study Anatomy. I recently took Anatomy and did well in it, so I feel pretty comfortable with Anatomy (I too am taking the test in June). Some people have used quizlet, watched You Tube videos, etc. to study for Anatomy. Please make sure you are comfortable with fractions and ratios, they make up the majority of the math section. Good Luck!

Hello everyone! I have been reading a lot of posts about the Hesi a2 exam, and have mine set for the end of June. I cannot stop worrying about the exam and what to expect so I thought I would create an account here and ask my own questions. My school requires math, reading comp, vocab, grammar, bio and a&P sections.
For anyone who has taken the math, about how many questions were English and metric conversions? Is the majority of the math on fractions and ratios like everyone says?
For the vocab are all of the questions out of the Elsevier review book?
Will the grammar portion be more of which sentence is incorrect/correct or will there be questions such as which word in the following sentence is a conjunction?
Last question is what should I focus on for the biology and a&p part of the exam?
I have been worried like crazy about what to expect on the exam so any feedback would be helpful! thank you!
