Hesi a2 questions 5/14/2017

Published

Hello everyone! I have been reading a lot of posts about the Hesi a2 exam, and have mine set for the end of June. I cannot stop worrying about the exam and what to expect so I thought I would create an account here and ask my own questions. My school requires math, reading comp, vocab, grammar, bio and a&P sections.

For anyone who has taken the math, about how many questions were English and metric conversions? Is the majority of the math on fractions and ratios like everyone says?

For the vocab are all of the questions out of the Elsevier review book?

Will the grammar portion be more of which sentence is incorrect/correct or will there be questions such as which word in the following sentence is a conjunction?

Last question is what should I focus on for the biology and a&p part of the exam?

I have been worried like crazy about what to expect on the exam so any feedback would be helpful! thank you!

Hello everyone,

I am taking the Hesi A2 math, reading, A&P, vocabulary on May 31st. I'm nervous as all get out, I've bought the book, pocket prep app and the hesi A2, and I'm using Quizlet.

For Vocab math and A&P what should I study?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!

Shaynalea, congratulations on your exam. When you mentioned App, please were you referring to Pocket-prep? You also said there were 55 questions on the Mathematics. Please, I would like to know the number of questions contained in other sections. Which part did you recommend to be answered first? Am writing my exam next month.Thank you.

Did anyone have to take the bio section? I am currently studying for the bio and seems like the questions in the study guide are in depth. For anyone who took bio section, how was it? What resources did you use to study?

I didn't have to take the biology or chemistry section at my school, however, different states, and even different schools, may require you to take them. I studied the section as well and, most of it, seems to just break down the body systems. So, if anything, I would say to study the basics of all of the body systems. For example, study the process of muscle contraction when dealing with the muscular system.

Can anyone give me advice on how to study for the anatomy portion? I have the elsevier study guide as well as cliffs notes anatomy and physiology but I don't remember much from a&p p 1 so I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed at the moment. Also are some of the questions from the study guide on the actual test? Are the exam questions easier than the practice questions? Any feedback would be appreciated!

The questions within the study guide won't be on the actual test but they give you the structure and format of how the questions will be asked. If anything, I would say refresh your memory on major sections within A&P 1 because, from what I remember, most of the questions had to do with A&P 1.

Taking my hesi a2 in 5 days. Does anyone have any study stips for anatomy and bio section? I've been studying for weeks but I feel like the anatomy questions and bio will be very specific
