I am not sure what to do anymore. I have just taken the hesi exit exam for the 4th time and got an 845 and needed an 850 in order to get my transcripts. We can take it as many times as needed by the end of fall, but my brain is so tired, and not sure I can take much more. We have remediation that we have to do and it is 3000 nclex questions before we retake. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get through this. is there anyone out there that has had to take this as many times as I have? Help someone.
Hi
I feel your pain. I am going through the same thing. This is really frustrating. I have spoken to one of my classmate whom took the HESI three times as well and she finally passed. She told me that she used the Kaplan test taking strategies in the Kaplan NCLEX-RN 2006-2007 or later version or earlier there all the same just different versions and it helped her passed with a 904. I spoke with instructors who suggested using 3500 and doing 600 questions a day for 7 days. I am doing anything I can to pass. I have really come to far. If you have received any advice or anything that may can help me let me know.
I wish you well

what version are you going to be taking? What have you taken? I have read the hesi book, answered saunders question, nclex 3500, and evolve practice questions. I have not tried Kaplan, but I think I am going to buy the book. I have read alot about it. This test is so frustrating. Now, me and my 16 other classmates have to take a four week course at school and then we get two more shots, after that they say we will not be able to get a degree from our college...we will have to go some where else.
whoever advised to take 600 questions a day is insane. If you take that many questions a day you will make your brain hurt and not take in the valuable information. I do 150 questions a day, read all the rationales, look up all the ones that I get wrong in Hesi book, Saunders and Kaplan and on the remediation. I figure if I read it so many times it should stick. the information anyway about whatever subject I missed. I wish all of you good luck. So i guess the next person to take the exam is on the tuesday. Let us know how you did. Hopefully you have good words that can uplift us!!!
