Hep C and titerd

Is Hep C something they told you they will test for? Usually it is just a Hep B titer. And when you go in for the drug test bring your prescriptions with you...that way when you test positive for something you will have proof of a legitimate reason for it to be there. But I definitely have never had a Hep C titer drawn for work.

Also, to help ease your concerns, I'm sure there are many nurses with Hep C...I don't see how having it would cost you your job or prevent you from working with patients. Just like I'm sure there are nurses with HIV who work with patients...you can not be discriminated against for this.

Thank you i just called and asked they said only hep b i asked if i could just forgo the titers all together and just get vacinated said no it was mandatory to draw blood and this leaves me to believe they also do drug screening of the blood as well if not then they would just let u be vaccinated instead of required titers, and "blood draw"

Another thing i just realized is that im substituting my urine because i didnt expect this offer to come so quickly and was using pot for pain management im no longer using it but i know im not clear in my urine and since im using a synthetic urine will they know this by my blood work, i read on the Internet that it only takes 7 days for daily users to clear it from blood, now im nervous they will know i used synthetic urine by comparing urine and blood samples, please no judgments im already freaking out about it and never plan on using again screw it ill let the ibuprofen destroy my liver and stomach, i just need some sound advice should i try to postpone or just go ahead i dont wanna lose my career over something that isnt an issue anymore.

And people who use illegal or even unprescribed drugs risk their jobs. So yes, if they find it it may cost you the job. But that is totally out of your control right now. Right now it seems you don't know what (if anything) they found. Take it as something to learn from, and try not to panic.

Synthetic urine is a urine created in a lab, i really need to know if anyone can tell me if they test my blood for drugs or just your urine like i said im done its just not worth it but i really want this job

I'm a bit concerned that you say in the OP that you're on psych meds, then suddenly admit to marijuana use. You seem like you are having a hard time coping, and the best thing to do might be to seek professional help for stress management so that when you do find yourself employed you can successfully manage whatever position you obtain.

I'm a bit concerned over this "synthetic urine." If I understand correctly, you're using fake urine to essentially lie on your drug test. How unethical.

I understand you were in pain but why are you smoking pot and applying for jobs? You had to know they are going to drug test you. And 99% of the time, they use urine for the drug screen, not blood.

Just so everyone is aware with all their ethic nonsense i decided to just wait till im naturally free of toxins as well as be honest about my medical conditions as for the judgement i dont need that and im sure u are not squeeky clean either , thank you very much for the feedback from those who were not being high and mighty, pot isnt even close to alcohol and Its legal so shut up with your ethical **** our government is corrupt and they mandate ******** that makes them money.
