Henderson , ASU, and UAFS

I was also wondering if anyone knew anything about the quality of these programs. I didn't see anything listed on here for those schools. I plan on applying to every BSN program in the state except for Harding cus it's too expensive.

ASU or stAte has a really good nuring program...it's the largest in Arkansas. I graduated in 03 & am now a CRNA.

I think the ASU BSN program is excellent. Seems to turn out highly intelligent, motivated graduates. It is also well organized and provides a good balance between classroom and clinical experience. Most of the clinical time is spent at St Bernard's Hospital, which is 400+ hospital that provides quite a bit of exposure to difference specialties.

Hello, sorry this reply is a bit late! Just found it, and have subscribe to this forum now! Many excellent nurses graduate from most colleges in Arkansas. UCA has an excellent BSN program; Henderson State University is also a good school, smaller, and friendly. My son and daughter-in-law graduated from Henderson. UAM also has a good BSN progam. ASU is also excellent! My first choice would be UCA though! :wink2::nurse:

I'm in the nursing program at ASU in Mountain Home, and it's considered to be a very good program. I don't know your situation, but financial aid is available, and quite a few hospitals help with grants because they know they will need you. Good luck!
