At my college I have taken every pre-requisite to the nursing program that I can take. I havent gotten in because I can not pass this stupid 40 question, 40 min, critical thinking exam. It has nothing to do with nursing. If I can pass it I will get into the nursing program starting in August. I have taken it three times. The last time I did very poorly. If there's anyone who can help me or would like to chat, I would appreciate it. THANKS!! It is ATI critical thinking entrance exam. btw.

critical thinking actually has "everything" to do with nursing and when working will be your foundation. look around on the student nursing section and ask your question there. good luck!

Hi. I'm moving this to the student nurses forum where someone can perhaps help you. You're speaking greek to me. Guess I didn't have to take that test. LOL
Good luck to you. Hang in there.

We had to take the ATI Critical Thinking exam our 1st semester of nursing. I
scored an 87.5% which was 99th percentile. The most important thing when
taking the test is to prioritize. What is most important? As a side note - I had
an instructor that was the devil in disguise last semester and she told me that I
had no critical thinking skills. If I said up - she said down. She actually wrote on my paperwork "Giving good patient care is not the job of the RN - that is the aides
job. The RN's job is to think critically." What a witch. I passed the class but
over half failed so I can't be too stupid. Good luck
