I'm with most of the previous posters. I took Med Term 1 because at the time, it applied to points for the ADN program, but the semester I finished, they changed the point system and it no longer counted. So I never took Med Term 2, but even the first class helped so much in my understanding of medical terms. Once I get into the program, I plan on taking the 2nd part of it during the summer just to reinforce my knowledge. Good luck with whatever you choose. And congrats on your new babies!!

First the updates, since it's been forever since I posed here:
I had twin girls last May! Annie and Erin joined big brother Kevin on 5/26/06. Annie weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and Erin weighed 8 lbs 15 oz. Both were and continue to be very healthy except for a couple ear infections. They are a joy to have but OMG the amount of work they require is enormous!
So I finished up A&P 2 right before I had the babies. I took a 1 credit Mickey Mouse class last fall to keep my loan status current. Now i am needing to take another class for the same reason and I'm wondering what I should take? With summer coming up, and 3 kids at home most of the time I don't think I can hack A&P 3 right now. A&P 2 just about killed me! There isn't anything I really *need* to take, since I already have a bachelor's degree in another field I don't have any additional general ed requirements for the program I'm applying to.
So my choices:
Lifestyle Managment 1 credit - a fitness course I've already taken, wouldn't mind taking it again
Medical Terminology 3 credits - don't need it, but at least it would be relevant
Algebra 3 credits - didn't do well in math in high school, took only very basic math courses in college the first time around, again I don't need this course but maybe it would help later on? My husband is a mth whiz so he can tutor me if I need help.
Whaddaya think?
I plan to take A&P3 in the fall (God help me!) and then micro (I think) in the spring. Hopefully my girls will continue to get more independent so I have more time to study. But I see myself taking just one class at a time all the way through prereqs so I'll be here on this board for a few more years!!
TIA!
