Help! What should you buy a nurse for graduation? Reccomdations needed...thanks.

My girlfriend will graduate with her RN real soon, and I wanted to get her a special gift directly related to nursing. Does anyone have any ideas for what they would like to get or what I should get her? Thanks,

why not a personalized clip board to keep her notes on. you could also get her a gold RN necklace.

Lets see here...my favorite present was a caduceus tattoo LOL, but rationally speaking...LOL!

I got a nursing apron filled with pens, scissors, pen light, steth, tape, and a watch with a second hand in the shape of a lady bug (the wings fold over the clockface so that if it is hit it will not break glass all over...I did that once, so the wings were a good thing!). It was awesome and I got it 6 years ago...still wear it, and in fact...the nursing department where I work is now ordering them because they are so great!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! (it is a short thing, not even as big as a 1/4 waitress apron that goes across the tummy and holds everything you need, never gets in my way :) ).

Gift certs for a scrub place would have been awesome!

I also got a ring from my kids with their birthstones in it with mine the biggest to remind me of just who I was doing this all for :)!
