I'm not sure I'm getting the right advice on applying to nursing school. I currently have a C in eng, B psych, A in Aphy . I still need to take teas but have not been able to study as I wished. An advisor is telling me to take teas in March and apply for nursing . I'm not sure if I should retake english or not???

What is Aphy? Is that anatomy and physiology?
If that is A&P then you only have 1 science class, and that alone might not get you in nursing school for this coming fall. Don't feel bad though because that's the norm. Unless you're taking other science classes right now and doing ok in them?
I'd retake English, but check your school's policies! Nursing school is about making the time to study. There's no way around it. Find time for the TEAS, even if it's only 10-20 mins a day before bed.
And you might want to go to the nursing department and speak to them in person. You might make a good impression at least and hopefully find out more info.
Hi! Thanks for your reply! I am taking chem & a&p 102 now and doing okay. I almost received B for eng and dreading redoing this class as I never really had problems with eng bf. I have been studying for teas since this post , I realize I have to carve even just 10 min a day for this, if I want to do as well as I hope!thank you !!

If you never had problems in English before and you have a high C, then do not retake. You should be fine in Nursing school. Always make time to study as good study habits are key to passing. Hope this helps
Can you choose nursing school hours? Ivy tech
No, the hours usually depends on the program.
Okay thanks for the reply !
Whats a good score on Teas?
