Help with studying for Nclex

I'm a Pn student who is soon to graduate. I have no clue what to study or how to get prepared for Nclex.

I have bought one Nclex book called Saunders comprehensive review and it does come with a cd.

I Just don't know what to do . I want to pass the Nclex the first time around. Can anyone give me pointers. I would greatly appreciate it.

Spend some time reading in the NCLEX forum where many people have posted advice many times. Most will tell you to study content first, then do as many questions as possible and study the rationales.

Thanks a bunch it's just that I'm so nervous because I failed the NLN test I'n school. I was close to the minimum of passing an the entire time while I was taking the test I could not concentrate because the thought if me having to pass it because it's a good indicator of passing ur Nclex the first time time. I failed it and I don't wanna fail Nclex I want to pass it the first time around. I just want to be prepared.

You have to know the content, inside and out. And don't be discouraged from doing the hard work it takes to learn the content. The NCLEX is a tricky test. Some pass it who aren't quite "ready" and some fail it who are very "ready". Just do your best.

One thing that I would say is it is never too early to start studying for the NCLEX. I began studying long before my program ended......

I would continue taking practice exams and answering practice questions until you are getting over 90% correct on a regular basis.

Saunders! Do lots of practice questions!

I have been using Saunders and it helped me pass my hesi exam but I hear that the questions are nowhere near nclex questions. What do you think? Also did anybody take hesi and find it similar to nclex?
