Help!! Starting school, but confused where to start!!!

Hello, I am 20 years old and I recently enrolled in the aesthetics program at my local community college. My goal is to try to get into medical aesthetics, and work next to a dermatologist, plastic surgeon, or in a medical spa. So I don't know what I would do after the eight-month aesthetic program, but I have to get a nursing degree in order to do that? I really need some help, I'm ready to get my life started and need some advice!!! thank you for reading!!

I think your best bet would be to call a dozen or so places like you mentioned and ask what kind of training would be appropriate for what you want to do. Many physician offices do not employ ANY nurses whatsoever.

I had a few friends (RNs) dapple in med spas ...it was heavily based on sales/commissions and not lucrative. They both gave it up pretty quickly in favor of much better paying jobs.
