Hey Sadie,
I found a christian college called Wisconsin Lutheran College that has a nursing program. It's a private college, and will probably be very expensive, but if you have good grades you can look into scholarships. I think it's great that you already know what you want to do at such a young age. Here's a link to the school. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the tips! I really appreciate it. Only problem is that Im a Baptist. I forgot to mention that. Helping others is just what I do and who I am. I was thinking of working my way up in the medical field. I know it would take years to accomplish, but hey, it'll keep me on my toes . I was thinking of becoming a CNA, to a RN, to an LP to a Midwife. I dont know if its a smart idead to do it that way or not. But that's how I figured I could get the most education.
Thanks bunches!

Its not that I plan to practice in the US; it's just that, that's the only college I have really found that I like and agree with. I think that studying outside of the United states would be a wonderful experience. Why should I avoid the Philippines though? That's the part that I dont understand. They need help more than the US does. Their infant mortality rate is much higher. I just want to help people who maybe aren't as fortunate as us in America.
I believe you'll find that the education you receive from a Philippine college will not be acceptable to get you licensure as an APN in the United States. However, if you intend to work in the Philippines, then I'm sure it's acceptable, educationally, there.
You should know, though, that many thousands of Filipino nurses try to immigrate to the US every year, due to low, low pay and poor working conditions.
Thank you! That actually helps a lot. Do you suggest any Christian College, preferably NonDenominational or Baptist, to go to? Im having a hard time figuring out where to go. NewLife International School of Midwifery was the one I was looking at, but that is in the Philippines. Money really isn't an issue at the moment. I already have a lot of money saved up for college. Plus I can get scholarships and student loans. I just want to get a good start on what I want out of life.

tcu is the largest of 18 colleges and universities associated with the christian church (disciples of christ), a community embracing both faith and reason. with the full support of the disciples, tcu is committed to the highest standard of scholarship, affording students the rigorous challenges that make higher education worthwhile. reflection on the questions of meaning and value is crucial to genuine learning. tcu’s covenant with the christian church (disciples of christ) supports this kind of education.more than 45 religious groups are represented in the student body; the denominations with the largest representation are roman catholic, united methodist and baptist.
Thank you a lot! That was actually really helpful! I really apreciate the help you've given me. This is deffinately a college I would like to further look into! It looks like it would offer the type of education that I would like. It looks tough, but deffinately worth it! Again, thank you for all of the help!!!!
