Help with school options

Published

I need some opinions on what type of program would be a good pick for me. I have worked for 20 years in corporate business world and have an MBA. I recently started back to school doing prereqs for a RN. I would like to get an RN and work a couple of years to get experience, then move into something administrative. Would I be better off to get an MSN or BSN? The BS takes only half as long and I am wondering if I combine it with my MBA and business background, would that be as credible or valued as having the MSN? Thanks.

I would talk to a faculty member in the nursing program you are going to apply for. Call the nursing office, and ask the secretary who they would sugest talking to, and can you make an appt. The Dean of Science, or Nursing would be helpful also. Maybe they would be willing to just have you ask a few questions over the phone.
