The trays used in our ER come pre-packaged from either an outside vendor if they are disposable or from sterile processing. I've been in the ER for 10 years - if you have a specific question, I'll be glad to try and help.

I had clinicals last year and I kept asking myself how can I create a report anwsering all the objectives and adding more to spice my report. Lucky me, this hospital and I do think every hospital probably have it, at the nurse's station there should be a policy and procedure manual. When you read it you can get alot of points using it and lots of "the unit objectives." Maybe you can go to the hospital, present yourself and check it out. There was so much good valueable info that I had to make copies. If they won't allow you, ask your fellow peer who is scheduled for ER clinical to check it out...
