suggest you read the sticky here on the international called primer to working in the us will give you plenty of info

Welcome to allnurses.com. After reading the "Primer" pls. do read the rest of the Stickies that Suzanne made for everyone. Everything you need to know are there.

Make sure you know the website of NV BON and follow all their instructions for foreign-educated nurses. A collection of good links can also be seen on the "Primer" sticky.

After reading all the stickies and your respective board's instruction packet don't hesitate to give ff-up questions here.
