So, I finally got an interview with a hospital!! It's a phone interview, so I am a bit nervous. Has anyone else ever gone through a phone interview? What did they ask? I really need to be on point...I am a new graduate and in desperate need of a job!!
I would appreciate any help!
Has anyone specifically interviewed with Bassett Medical Center and get hired?
Any tips?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone!
I had posted on the boards a week or so ago about my upcoming interview at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY. Well, I must have really made a good impression because I got an in-person interview on the spot and it is scheduled for October 11th!
I am so excited, but SO nervous! I don't even know what to expect!
Apparently I am having two interviews on the same day. One for the medical floor and one for the surgical floor. Each of them lasting one hour. Now...ONE HOUR interviews? What could they possibly ask, do, etc.?
I was just wondering if anyone who has been hired there could tell me what to expect, what to bring, how to dress? Any good advice?
I would GREATLY appreciate it!
Thank you so much!
Dress: professional and conservative.
Bring: extra copies of your resume and list of references.
For an hour-long interview, you'll probably get a tour of the unit (ask lots of questions), a sit-down with the manager, and maybe a peer review with some of the unit's nurses. Then you'll go through the whole thing again on the other unit!
That is helpful thank you! I'm just worried about the interview...is it a behavioral interview? And what is a peer review?Dress: professional and conservative. I'm sure you'll do well! An hour long interview sounds nerve-wracking but they will probably take you on a tour and have you meet the staff of each floor so I'm sure it won't be so bad! Anyways, good luck! Let me know how it goes!
