HELP!! patient teaching

I have to do patient teaching for my fundamentals class and I have decided to do it on IBS(figured it would be easy since i have it) anyways this is the first we have done so if someone could help me get started that would be great. I know where to find the info I just dont know how to formulate it. We have to get in front of the class and either teach them or a fellow student. THANKS

There are lots of other tutorials about different diseases on their website as well. If you look at a couple of them you will see how these teaching tools are organized. It will help give you an idea of how to organize your patient teaching project. Most large hospitals that have websites also have health libraries with consumer information on them that have this same kind of set: provide patient teaching about major illnesses. All you have to do is link into them and look at how they present the information. Here's a few for you to look at:

i still think that the lewis books are the best for that class. we had that first sem, and used them and it was exaclty what our instructors were looking for. GL
