I work in a residential care facility that takes care of special kids, some have been placed by parents and some have been placed there by social services. We are a non profit organization. Most of our kids have regular beds but there are a few that need hospital beds. We are in Riverside CA. Does anyone know how we can get donated beds for our kids. Any sugestions would be very much appreicated.

Are the children living in your residential facility on a state medicaid program? If so, they are most likely being provided care under a state medicad wavier program.
In PA with appropriate letter of medical necessity from PCP, disabled children are covered for a hospital bed by medicaid. Discuss your concern with residential care coordinator during next patient care meeting.
