HELP NCLEX PN

Published

Hi all, I graduated nursing school in 2013, I took my nclex about three times. The last time I took it was in 2015 and i just got my paperwork to reapply for the nclex which can take 8 weeks to process to get authorization to test again. I really need to pass this exam and move on. any ideas on what i can prep myself for the nclex.

Hello! I was in the same boat as you this past month. I graduated from school in 2012. I took it twice in past years and didnt pass so I took a break for a couple of years and decided to retest this year. I applied in october 2016 and got my att in january 2017. I originally set my test date to april but did not take it. I kept getting nervous, so i rescheduled it for may, june, and eventually july. Since i had to start from scratch (because i pretty much forgot everything) I figured out what my study style is and just studied content and did questions often until i learned important parts for each section. I did the predictor test and when I got highly successful. I took it and passed :)

oh wow good job, I'm glad you passed . it took three months to get your ATT? because i got all the paper works from the boards, where i have to do the whole process again ex: background check, finger print, form from school and etc... i hope i can get it sooner than 3 months, im planning to take it in oct hopefully and also what resources did you use to PREP.

Have always been a fan of a live review course when someone has been unsuccessful at self-study methods. You have tried and failed three times, time to try something different if you want different results.

Contact your school to get a referral for a tutor who has worked with those who have failed NCLEX, you need to find out WHY you are failing first if you are to pass ever. If you don't know the reason you are going to keep repeating the same mistakes. Work with someone who can help you. Good luck.
