Hi all, are there any websites or resources that you can share to help me practice and improve in the following:
1. metric system & conversions
2. Apothecary systen & conversions
3. Dosage calculations
I would like to work on a few problems every day because we were told today that it is independent study so when we come to class we should know it :/
Thanks,
UB

A teacup is 6 oz? Gee, mine holds about 12 oz. No wonder I pee so much in the morning.

I am in full-blown PSTD flashback mode over minims and drams now - thankyouverymuch.......
I was fortunate to have gone to a college where they told us that the apothecary system was dead and we didn't have to learn it ... and this was mumblemumble years ago, too. But some of the hospitals where we did clinicals still used it, so we ended up with it anyway. (At my first job out of school, I found a vial of dried-up brownish stuff in the med room. "What's that?" I asked. "Digitalis leaf," came the answer. Nobody had prescribed the actual LEAF for years, but it was still in the hospital formulary. Now that's old.)
Now my recall is limited to the daily paper's trivia questions, which occasionally asks me about drams or gills or grains. I usually get them right...and if I don't, who cares?
