Help Me Find a Low Cost Accelerated BSN program!

Published

Hi All,

I need help finding a quality ABSN program that won't break the bank! What programs do you know of? It's discouraging looking at all these programs that cost over $40,000.

Thanks in advance! :)

Thank you! I'll look into Edinboro :)

CSU Stanislaus has an 18 month ASBSN for around 35k. It is taught in Stockton, CA.

I chose Sac State -- it's only a few months longer, less than half the price, and the NCLEX pass rates are higher.

Specializes in Clinical Research, Outpt Women's Health.

What is your student loan burden currently?

None. I had scholarships.

I did a 3 semester ADN program and then did WGU for my BSN. I finished my BSN in 4 months. Total cost? Less than $15k, including tuition, books and supplies. Same end point, same amount of time, way less money. (I have a prior BS degree).

Would you mind sharing what ADN program you finished? Was it accelerated?

Did anyone find an affordable absn? I'm trying not to spend 60k on one as well.

Mine cost $22k In-state tuition/books/lab fees. Indiana State University

Indiana. Four semesters for around $5k/ semester tuition, books, lab fees.

Current 2017-Spring 2018-Summer 2018 In-state tuition

Indiana residents

0 - 11.99 credits: $316.00 (per credit hour)

12 - 18 credits: $4,358.00 (per semester)

Above 18 credits: $5,066.00 (per semester)

That's a great price! Thank you! In state accelerated programs where I am are at least 40k. I am trying to do the right thing and not pay that much money, I am even looking into ADN, but I was reading on AN that getting the BSN first would save time/money ;-/
