:confused:Ok, I would think that this would be a common thing but I am having a had time finding any info. I am trying to find a good nursing organization (I am an RN) that you can get health insurance through. My physician said that would be a better way to get insurance than private health insurance.
Nurse switch jobs and agencies so often I would think it would be common. I am not working at the moment (ins. ran out with previous agency) and don't have health ins for me and my son and husband (and he is self employed) at the moment. I know, shameful. But even if I get a job soon I still would like it not through my employer because we may move and I just want my insurance to be the same one I can keep no matter how much switch jobs/employers.
I have been wanting to join a professional nursing organization anyway (my nursing school said it was a responsibility of a nurse, part of being a professional, oops and I never have yet after 3 1/2 years). So does anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate it.

I get my professional Liability Insurance through Nurses Service Organization, and checking their website it looks like they offer health insurance too. Maybe something to look into :) Hope this helps!
