Hi everyone I just need some clarification and peace of mind about my issue. It is about taking nclex. I am currently here in u.s as non immigrant. I have plan to take nclex and already proceeded for application and for cgfns verification processing. But as of today I just read about the decision of CGFNS about the june 2006 that they will not issue VISASCREENING. My husband is nclex passer also and already in processing for his visa screening he passed his nle 2002. My question is can i still be approve/eligible to take the nclex even i am june 2006 nle passer? Pls help to anyone that has knowledge about this. Thanks in advance

Who will be the initial applicant on your immigrant visa? Only the initial applicant will need to apply for and obtain vsc

All CVS is is the paperwork required by NY. NY will make the actual assessment and approval. Hard to say as a lot of states actually denied 2006 because of the issue that occurred

Why would you do a visa screen if you are here on a non immigrant visa?

Can't you just apply directly to the state.

What visa did you use to enter usa?

Hi Lnzsay, i have the same problem, i want to ask an advice from you. I'm a June 2006 NLE passer also, i'm planning to take NCLEX in US this year. Can you help me please...

I'm also in the same situation. I would like to get registered in New Mexico and apply a reciprocity to the another state (IN). They have three credentialing bodies (CGFNS, ERES and i forgot the other one). I believe we only need the CES from CGFNS since we are not the primary applicant. But i'm not sure if cgfns will grant us our CES as well. Do you think they will grant us our CES? If not, i might use ERES as the credentialing body. But i dont know if IN will accept ERES.

If u are going to apply for VISA SCREENING we need to go through CGFNS they are the ONLY company that accredited by Immigration. But I don't have an idea about getting eligibility to sit in NCLEX coz I'm still on the process and hope that I will be eligible to take it. About the VISA SCREEN There's nothing we can do about it because that's already been a final decision of CGFNS which kinda frustrating.

I dont need the VISA SCREENING since I am already in the US on a nonimmigrant visa. Do you think CGFNS will issue me just the CES?

Can you work on your no immigrant visa?

Yes all you need is CES report so you need to complete application and arrange appropriate documents to go to CGFNS. I good thing is any docs CGFNS recieve for CES can be used for VSC if that is also needed

We have a pending adjustment of status but my husband is the primary applicant. Would CGFNS give me the CES knowing that I am a june nle passer? Thanks :)

The only way to really answer that is for you to apply. At one time the answer would have been no unless you resat the exam these days we haven't heard much to say what the current trend it
