Hi there! I was just accepted into nursing school and will begin my clinical studies in August. I am in the market for the most comfortable pair of shoes  that I can find. I have reflux in my lef leg and need support as well as comfort. Nurses, please help narrow my search and give me any advice on maintaining while working long shifts and constantly on my feet.

One major question from me: do OR slippers fit over these things? I am curious as they do look interesting and I might like to give them a try.

I have worn them over them... it just takes a couple seconds longer to get them on.

Z-coils for me too. I love mine! I was really skeptical at first too, but mine were actually given to me as an early graduation gift from my cousin that owns a z-coil store. Best graduation gift I got!!

I wore them for a few days and my left foot hurt a little bit, so I took them into the store and they molded the shoe to fit my foot even better. Haven't had any problems since then. If you go to the website that jeepgirl posted, I have that pair that's on the very front page there, the blue and white. That blue is a mesh type material, so it allows your feet to breathe. I really like them, totally recommend them!

And yep, the shoe covers fit over them.
