Help finding a nursing program

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello

i was in a community college trying to do nursing, I took all the general classes however I failed anatomy 4 times. I have a 2.3 gpa and was wondering if anyone knows a program that I would still be able to join? I've been working at a pharmacy for 3 years, I'm not sure if that helps. Or does anyone know of a of a different way to becoming a nurse. For example I've heard of people getting a bachelors in sociology and doing something called an acclerated nursing program after that. Any help will be appreciate.

thank you

I already apologized once, but I will do so again. I haven't applied to college since 1998 and it's the only one I've attended (I'm a life long student apparently). So I didn't realize that the application asked if one had ever attended another institution. I definitely wouldn't want to encourage anyone to commit fraud or lie on an application.

My comment was much more a cautionary tale than it was me deliberately calling you out for anything

No worries! I was wrong. I'm glad that more knowledgeable people were around to correct me. ;)

Do you think maybe taking pre requisuites such as biology and chemistry would build a foundation to understanding the subject better?

There are tons of online courses that prepare you. Im not too familiar with the clep and etc., but straightliner and achievetestprep...may allow you to practice and take it multiple times without going on record.
