Hello Everyone. I am at a complete lost of words. I feel so hopeless & down on myself & i dont what to do to pick myself up. I just found out I failed Nclex RN for the 3rd time & I feel like such a failure =(. I mostly used Kaplan & was consistently scoring in the mid to upper 60's & 70's on my qbank & qtrainers. I also used LaCharity Book to help me prioritize. Ive spent endless amounts of hours studying for this test & I actually felt confident & ready. How can someone put in sooo much hard work & dedication & still come out empty handed?!!! This last time, it took me all the way to 265 questions & got a vase variety of questions from fill in the blank, sata, put in orders...you name it, i got it. Im really feeling lower than dirt right now. Is there someone out there that can help me achieve my goals?? Pleasee

I'm so sorry to hear this. Have you reached out to your nursing school? My school had some faculty members who were trained at tutoring students who needed to take the nclex several times before passing. I'm sure this happens often and they may be able to point you in the right direction. One of my classmates didn't pass 3 times, got tutoring through someone at the school and then passed. All hope isn't lost. Hang in there.
I feel like that is my only option at this point. I have no where else to turn. I want this so much...I've even considered emailing my kaplan instructor to see where to go from here. Im also looking into doing NCSBN. Can someone give me some insight on that? thanx..

I am so sorry you are in such a funk. Sounds like you are really hurting. Are you a good test taker usually and just get all anxious over the NCLEX?
There seems to be a big difference in whether you have problems with the actual nursing content or whether you have trouble taking standardized tests. What did your previous test score report tell you?
I hope the folks who have taken the test recently can help you.
Best wishes to you.

I may have really bad test anxiety but I know my content as proven by my practice scores. I dont have my official test result yet but its been over 48 hours and my name still hasnt posted on the BRN. I can pretty much bet I failed. I need someone to show me/tell me what am i doing wrong, cz this feeling really really sucks. Im literally losing my mind

Whoa--you haven't got official word you failed yet? Please don't just assume! Does your state participate in quick results? if so, they cost $8.00 are well worth it. If not, then wait until you have official word. Some BONs are not consistent, some post same day, some weeks later.
If you did fail, then you need more help than you are going to find in a self study course of anything. Tutoring will be your best bet for success, but again, wait for official word!!
