Help.Endorsing license while theres ongoing VSC application

Published

My situation is that i have an ongoing application for a visa screen certificate, i already submitted all the requirements and all has been received and accepted except for the license verification coming from New Mexico, which is still in "Waiting" status.

my question is:

Can i endorse my new mexico license to california now? how will it affect my application to vsc/verification of my license?

im here in california right now. i just thought that maybe, for convinience's sake,to process my endorsement to this state while im here.

Have you read the endorsement requirements from CA BRN ??

Last time I checked, they still want you to send transcripts directly from your school to them. It is basically the same procedures as if you were applying for Licensure by Examination to them as a foreign grad. They only mention that if you have either CGFNS or CES that you can send it to them but still wants transcripts sent from the school directly to them as well.

That was the last time when I read the procedures, kindly double check if that still stands.

If the procedures are still the same, I see no advantage if doing it in CA or if doing it in PH. Should be the same.

Have you checked NM's website yet for endorsement?? They actually have separate procedures if sending verification to CGFNS and if you want them to send verification to another State BON you have to do it via nursys.

Are you in vacation in CA?

Ca will not issue a license to you without a SSN#, even if you are endorsing. The most that they will grant you is a temporary license that is only valid for 180 days.

With the retrogression in place, and until you know when you will be in the US, I would not do anything with endorsing at this time.
