help 4 my cousin in manila

hey everyone,

i have a cousin in manila that took her boards a couple weeks ago. she wants to work in florida with me. i called my nurse recruiter and she said there are no sponsorship positions available at this time. there are several open rn positions but no sponsorship postions. anyways... please give me some step-by-step advise so that i can help my cousin work in florida.

your cousin needs to sort her licensure out and pass NCLEX and english exams and then start looking for someone to petition her for GC. I think at the moment with retrogression a lot of emploers are delaying accepting foreign nurses. Her first port of call should be Florida BON and CES with CGFNS

I agree to what Silverdragon said, let her take the requirements first, most importantly passing the NCLEX exam and the English Proficiency Test which are both prerequisites to obtaining a Visa Screen Certificate. At least she has them ready, and when it comes to finding an employer, she'd be most favourable ..... and by seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, I'm quite positive that somewhere somehow something will be done about the retrogression ..... let her pass those exams first and she's one step ahead :lol2:
