Help with clinical goals

I am starting my first adult health clinical rotation on Monday and need serious help establishing goals. My goals - learn as much as I can and pass the course! I just don't think the faculty will buy this! Can anyone share with me what they have used as goals to help spark some ideas?

Read your psych book and see if that suggests some things you'd like to learn/observe/practice.

Are these goals for what you need to accomplish during the day? Or, are these things you need to have your patients work on when you're interacting with them?

I need to come up with 3 clinical goals with 3 objectives to each goal. What I have turned in is no what is wanted and I have become discouraged and frustrated. Please Help Me!!!

I'm sorry you are frustrated. However, you have not provided enough information for us to help you.

1. What type of clinical and where? LTC, acute care, primary care, etc

2. What did you originally come up with?

3. What feedback did you get ? Why was the feedback negative? Can you ask for more clarification?

4. What were the instructions for these goals and objectives?
