Hello all, im new to this site, so I have no isea if im posting in the right area. But I attend City Tech in brooklyn ny, I came in as a transfer student from expensive LIU, anyway i took anatomy and physiology there, but at LIU its two different classes. Anatomy is 4 credits and physiology is 3 credits. At City Tech the these bio classes are a&p 1 and a&p2. So to balance out my credits at LIU, i had to retake a&p2. When i recived all my prereqs for city tech, i noticed on the website it says a&p1 cannot be taking more then 5 years ago. Being that City tech took my anatomy grade as a&p1. I took it over 7 years ago. But i also see on the website if you got a grade of c or better in one of the prereqs, then you can take a higher class to replace that grade. I took a&p2 last year. So should i retake a&p1??? Im really confused about this. And no one picks up the phone at the nursing office in the pearl building. And when i go there to ask questions the office is closed! This is the only class im missing. But not exactly. My grades are a&p1 c+ ( which is bad i know, took it almost 10 years ago), a$p2 B, Child phy B, Math 1275 A, Eng B+, reg Phy B. Should i take teas to see if ill get in? Or wait and take a&p1 over?? I wonder if i sit for the teas 5 score a very high grade what will happen. If i take a&p1 for spring 2015, i may have to wait to apply to the program for spring 2016, which is so annoying, because i heard that they have to see all your grades before you apply to their nursing program. Helllppppppp what do i do????????????????
That's EXACTLY how i felt. I knew the stuff, if I had an extra 30 min I would've aced it. I finished each section with more than 10 minutes to spare, so I didn't even watch the time when math came up. Bad mistake, when I realized I had 2 minutes for 13 questions, I knew i was in trouble = (
@rudzynka don't give up, just keep trying. When I first took the teas I failed it with a 58.7 the second time I got a 72.7 so just keep practicing and time yourself! I took pre-calc and the math section wasn't my best either. For The math section, like there is no time you have to solve and keep it moving don't stay on the problem that was my strategy.
We will hopefully know before the week is out, the anticipation is a killer. Honestly, you generally know if your getting in or not. With a 3.4 GPA, I'm just at the borderline, so I just have to wait and see. Although I am very happy we can stress together = )
Makes the waiting a little easier

Yea the passing score is on your teas v transcript. I really do not want to sound harsh, but I higly doubt you'll get in. My friend applied last semester with the same score as yours and got rejected even though she has a high GPA
