Something a little more constructive may be useful.
Think about what you can do as a deputy to influence standards, acting as a role model, promoting good practice and challenging poor practice. Supporting your manager to maintain standards by acting as his /her eyes and ears when they aren't around.
Look at the reports from Francis and the more recent one from Professor Andrews, you can talk about how poor practice can become the accepted norm and how you can stop that from happening.
If your applying for a band 6 then I'd assume that the leadership qualities and role modelling are already there in your practice.
Leadership theory is important but it's more about how you act. Many organisation's are focusing on core values, what are your organisation values and incorporate them into your presentation
Good luck

Could anyone please help me. I'm currently a Band 5 emergency nurse and I've also trained as an emergency nurse practitioner. I have a Band 6 - Sister development post interview in 1 week.
I have to come prepared for a 10 minute discussion about:
"An integrated cohesive team is vital for excellence in standards of care. How could you in a Band 6 capacity ensure this consistently happens"?
I would be very grateful for any pointers, particular subjects to talk about.
Thank you in advance for your time.
