Hey! My name is Teresa. I am currently in my pre-req classes at Waubonsee Community College (getting an A in A+P and English!). I'm pretty much here looking for support and conversation with people in the area, maybe who have been to WCC.

Hi there!! This is a great place for information!!! Welcome to AllNurses!!! Best of luck in your classes!! I go to CLC.

Thank you TramaRUs-I was not being prudent. Still, I would like OP to know that I had only praise for the intructors I spoke of. I would never slander someone by name on the internet. In any case you are correct-I should not mention people by name. Have a great day!

Hello Teresa-

I recently graduated from WCC in May of this year from the nursing program and I tell you, it will not be an easy road to the end but it's well worth it. The classes are tough for some however when you make it through to the end, you are almost certain to pass your nclex exam. The instructors are GREAT at preparing you for this test at the beginning of your classes and expect only the best from you. So far all of those who graduated with me who took the nclex passed so this proves that they teach you what you need to know to be safe and effective as well as pass the class this is even true with the previous classes. As you may already know the program is very, very demanding and you must be commited if you want to do well. The program was a total shock to me at first because critical thinking was not something I was use to, and as a nurse that is something you MUST do. The test were difficult for me too at the beginning because I'm use to seeing a question and knowing that there is one good answer to it with all of the others being incorrect, however with the nursing test there were sometimes 4 answers that could possible be correct but only one was the best choice. The instructors are very proud of the program and it ranks higher then some programs even nationally with the pass rate this including Universities too. As far as your A&P Delay is an excellent instructor and he makes class fun and intresting at least I thought so.

Good luck to you with your classes--
