Hello Drangonfly we have alot in common I am 24 and a mom a three in my second semester of lpn program in La. it really has not been as bad as I tought it would be.MED SURG is really a pain but still doing good, all questions are usally about a patient and the problems they are having, you have to use Maslows to figure which one is the best answer because they are usally a right. Once you have started let me know I have a format you can use for drug cards where all you do is copy and paste pretty much(if you don't have to hand write them) good luck:roll

The math is minimal.
Simple formulae, and my NS lets you use a calculator. You can certainly use one when you are out in a HCF for clinicals/job.
There are far harder things in NS to deal with than the math.
